11 Oct Artist Residency: Voices
For the past month Lupinewood has been host to Beyon and Wulf as they assemble 2 years of interviews with indigenous land defenders into a hand-printed and illustrated art book. The book, Voices: Indigenous Women on the Front Lines Speak, seeks to visibilize women in positions of leadership throughout West Coast land defense struggles: pockets of resistance that are directly connected to so-called Massachusetts via pipelines and the long supply chains of resource extraction. After countless hours, the book is about to be printed with silk screens and copper etchings by hand—follow the book’s social media and check it out when it’s complete!
